I'm Such a Bad Blogger

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I'm really behind on my cards due to the fact that I was in China for work from the end of January to the beginning of February (3 weeks). I know, I know...it's now the end of February and I still haven't posted any new crafts. Well I have not had time since I got back to get any cards made. I still haven't done my Valentine's Day cards or my bumper card for this month yet (sorry Sharon). I'm working on them as we speak, but I thought that I could post a few pics from my trip to China. I had a great time even though naturally they had the worst winter in 50 years while I was there. Please enjoy the pictures.

My Celebrity Look-Alikes

I saw this on one of the blogs that I frequently look at. I thought it was hilarious. So I thought, "What the hey...I'll give it a try." I don't necessarily agree that I look the most like Katie Holmes, but it's good for a laugh. Let me know what you think.

Now on to the extra cards for immediate family and friends! I have to thank Geeta for tuning me into all the blog sites she visits. I got a few of these ideas from other bloggers. My goal for this next year is to work on creating my own designs for cards and not casing so many. Christmas Cards 2007 (part 1)

So this year I decided that I was going to only do two kinds of Christmas cards, unlike last year where I made all of them different. However, I was unable to stick to my plan...I had too many ideas in my head. So what I did was made all the cards the same for everyone except my immediate family and close friends. The card design I chose to use for everyone but immediate family was an idea from the Stamp Salado store where Geeta has classes. I was going to emboss the front of the card, but after embossing only 3 cards I realized that was too much work in the short amount of time I had. So instead, I used Platinum Stickles on the snowflakes.
